How Do I Manage Tips with menumiz™ ePOS?

Navigate To the Management Section

Begin your journey by accessing the “Management” section within menumiz™ ePOS. This serves as the gateway to a range of management tools, including “Tip Management” feature.

Explore the Tip Management Page

Upon entering the “Management” section, you’ll discover the dedicated “Tip Management” page. This page combines all aspects of tip management, providing you with comprehensive control over this critical aspect of your business.

Here’s a glimpse of the information at your fingertips:

  • Table Numbers: Gain insights into which tables are contributing to your tip income.
  • Date Range: Refine your tip analysis by selecting specific date intervals.
  • Search Keywords: Filter your tip data using order numbers, staff names, payment methods, serving type, tip percentages, tip amounts in MYR, and the status of tips (Due or Settled).
  • Order Numbers: Track tips based on individual orders.
  • Staff Names: Identify which staff members are receiving tips.
  • Payment Methods: Categorize tips by payment method, whether it’s card, e-wallet, cash, or menumiz™ Pay.
  • Serving Type: Distinguish between dine-in, takeaway, or both, to tailor your tip management strategy.
  • Tip Percentage: Analyse tips based on percentages such as 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, or 30%.
  • Tip Amount ($): Monitor the tip amounts in your preferred currency.
  • Status: Keep tabs on the status of tips—whether they are Due or Settled.

Start Settlement

After filtering and identifying specific waitstaff for tips based on the filters available, select the relevant transactions and click ‘Settle’. The system will automatically process the related transactions and generate a settlement slip.
