menumiz™ recognized that sending self-service orders directly to the kitchen can lead to potential issues such as kitchen overload, false orders, fake orders, and worst of all, the opportunity for dish and dash scenarios where individuals may abuse the direct Table-Kitchen ordering method, which lacks human verification.
As a result, we’ve implemented two options for processing orders. The first option involves pending orders, which await manual retrieval and placement by the waitstaff. The second option offers automated order placement with a grace period (delay) to allow waitstaff the opportunity to manually check and review orders if necessary. However, if no action is taken within the grace period, the orders will be processed and sent to the kitchen automatically.
