Menumiz supports USB thermal printers (80mm). A USB printer, like a Bluetooth printer, is a peer-to-peer printer, meaning it prints from the specific device to which the USB cable is connected; therefore, it cannot be shared among other users on a network, unlike a LAN or Wi-Fi printer.

NOTE: The USB printer will not support MOAP.

NOTE: USB printer works only on Windows, Android, Huawei, and iMin. iOS or macOS do not support a USB printer in Menumiz.

To successfully connect a USB printer to your device, first, make sure you have the USB cable ready. Plug one end of the USB cable into the printer’s USB port and the other into the corresponding USB port on your device. After connecting the cable, turn on the printer and navigate to the dashboard on your Menumiz POS, then click the printer option, then select USB printer. Finally, start scanning for the USB printer to ensure it is detected and can be used for printing tasks.

NOTE: The USB printer functions only with the Menumiz POS app; the web version does not support printing. Therefore, you must install the Menumiz POS app on your device.
