Streamlining Order Collection
The order mapping functionality consists of serving counter and collection screen modules and links completed orders from the kitchen with their intended party for quick front-counter collection. On the ePOS dashboard, turn on the “Serving Counter” notification setting. This will automatically match orders with the customer’s name or order number keyed in during the initial order placement and check them in the system.
Practically, when an order is nearly complete in the kitchen, this data is transmitted to the ePOS counter-service area. When the visiting customer then provides their name or order number for pickup, the waitstaff can instantly match this to the corresponding order due for collection.
This allows for rapid, accurate order retrieval minimising fuss or confusion. Take advantage of seamless order service and collection between the preparation staff finishing meals and frontline staff handing over orders to waiting customers.
