QR code based order will be received in TSO udner "Retrieve Order" Basket.


When a new order is received from a customer who uses QR code ordering, TSO home page plays a ring notification and repeats the ring every minutes until the basket is opened. 


Push Notification is also is sent if you use TSO on Menumiz POS mobile App.

 

A number at the corner of Retrieve order box will be displayed showing the number of orders waiting in queue to be processed. 



To Retrieve an Oder:


IF IT IS HAS NOT BEEN PAID BY MENUMIZ PAY: (Pay At The Counter)


click on Retrieve order tab and openb the pending orders basket as below:


 1: Order Numbers

2: Customer name (Guest is default name if non name given)

3: Number of guests at table ( for Dine-in orders only)

4: Time elapsed since the order was received (waiting time)

5: Order type (Dine-in with table number OR takeaway)

6: To Retrieve an order by scanning QR code on customer device*

7: TSO home

 

NOTE: You may search pending orders by order number or customer name.


NOTE: If Customer choses "I'll seat around" Option, then table number is displayed NA. This is used in food courts whereas the table number is not the case, but yet this is considered dine-in order.


*When customer places the order, a QR code appears on their mobile, display order number and a QR code for fast retrieve (if in a very busy restaurant). Waitstaff or cashier can scan the QR code using mobile camera or stand-alone scanner devices to retrieve the order quickly.

 NOTE: You have option to retrieve orders from the list by first in first out sequence. scanning QR code to retrieve the order is for very busy restaurants having hundred orders in the list.

 






Click the order in the list to retirve it or scan the QR code on customer's device


Once you retrieve an order , you will have below option ( Similar to normal TSO orders)






1: Order details ( Order belongs to who/ instructions to chef attached under "add notes" 

2: Sidelines/Add-ons related to the item

3: To Redeem discount voucher or gift card

4: To cancel the order (delete the whole order)

5: To remove the item from cart 


NOTE: Removing an item will remove all related sidelines and add-ons under the item

 

NOTE: To add more items , Click "Continue to Menu". You may add more items subject to letting your customer know. 





Step 1 : Placing the order



Upon Processing the order, the system shows options for payment, printing the bill  as below:

 

 




1: Print bill (By default checked)

2: Added Tip ( If Customer has given tip while ordering, it will show the tip % here )

3: If payment is made upon taking order, then click on this button to confirm payment was received. ( Otherwise the system will hold status for the order " Pending for payment"

4: Select method of Payment at the counter

5: Bill Grand Total

6: Place the order


NOTE: By switching between payment methods, the grand total may change subject to cash rounding mechanism (5 cens rounding).


NOTE: Upon placing the order, related docket(s) will be printed in the Kitchen.


NOTE: You have option to  Reprint the bill  or Docket from Order history if needed.

Once you retrieve an order , you will see below widnow which only lets you palce the orderr to the kitchen. 



IMPORTANT: You cannot edit or cancel an order which is already paid by the customer using Menumiz Pay.
